Saltwater Park Clean-up
Earth Day comes a little early this year in Richmond Beach, as the annual Saltwater Park clean-up will be Saturday, March 17, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Volunteers meet in the lower parking lot, and then fan out to clear trash from the public areas and beach. Bags and gloves are provided by the City of Shoreline Parks Department. People should wear sturdy shoes and work clothes.

The clean-up is concurrent with the ongoing UW hillside restoration and invasive species eradication efforts. People can volunteer to join that crew and help pull scotch broom. People of all ages can participate in either the RBCA or UW events, but minors must have parental permission and children must be with adults.

See you there!
