Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, 2021 NW 190th Street
A Saltwater Park litter clean-up and general "Richmond Beach Pride" sweep will honor this year's Earth Day.
The litter clean-up will "beat the bushes" around the picnic areas, parking lot, and on the beach from 10:00 a.m. to early afternoon on Saturday, April 24. Anyone can join the crew, which will meet in the lower parking lot. As in past years, the City of Shoreline will provide trash bags. Volunteers should bring gloves and wear sturdy grubbies.
The Richmond Beach Community Association will provide water and snacks.
All Richmond Beach residents are encouraged to check around their properties, along the roads and around the commercial district and pick up any trash, sweep up broken glass, and clean up or report graffiti. Such trash can be brought to the beach lot for pick-up, but please do not bring additional household or bulk garbage.
Volunteers on Earth Day will be asked to sign a release from the City. Kids are welcome but also need a release signed and must be supervised by an adult. Release forms are provided below. You may print out a copy and bring it the day of the event or sign a release form at the event.
