Experience four great events in one spectacular weekend! This year's festivities promise to provide activities and entertainment for all ages and interests. Enjoy local music and food at the Strawberry Festival! Delight in the handcrafted items including jewelry, textiles, ceramics, photography and original art at the Arts and Crafts Show at Richmond Beach Library (May 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)! Check out cars of yesteryear at Richmond Beach Rehab's Car Show (May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)! Explore plants in the unique, naturalistic Kruckeberg Botanic Garden (May 10-12 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)! Join your friends and neighbors for a fun-filled weekend.
14th annual Strawberry Festival
Richmond Beach Community Association will be hosting its 14th annual Strawberry Festival at the Richmond Beach Community Park. The festival will feature music by local musicians, food from local restaurants, games and activities for kids, a walking tour of historic Richmond Beach at 1:00 and more!
Entertainment
Noon - The Portage Bay Big Band (classic jazz and swing)
1:00 p.m. - Scott Lindenmuth Trio (jazz-rock fusion)
2:00 p.m. - Ashley Durant & the Delta Beat (blues and boogie woogie)
3:00 p.m. - Quarter Past 8 (classic rock)
4:00 p.m. - The Wiretappers (good time string band)
Restaurants
Scrumptious food will be offered by local restaurants:
Jinju Korean Restaurant
Full Moon Thai Cuisine
Flying Dragon Chinese Cuisine
Puerto Bonito Mexican Restaurant
And, of course, it wouldn't be a Strawberry Festival without traditional Strawberry Shortcake served up by RBCA (freshly baked shortcake from Edmonds Bakery and fresh, juicy strawberries smothered in creamy whip cream–yum!).
Activities
There will be a walking tour of historic Richmond Beach at 1:00 p.m. (meet in front of the library), community information booths, Shorewood senior photography contest, lots of games and activities for kids and a visit by Shoreline-s finest—the police and fire departments.

Volunteer

Shuttle Service
Due to limited parking at the event sites, off-site parking and shuttle service to all four events will be provided on Saturday, May 11, at Richmond Beach Congregational Church located at 1512 NW 195th. Guests are encouraged to use the shuttle to reduce impact on the neighborhood. Richmond Beach residents are encouraged to walk or carpool, if possible.
