The Richmond Beach Community Association (RBCA) is offering a $1000 scholarship to high school seniors and post-secondary students currently living in the Richmond Beach area. This area is defined by our boundaries: North – Snohomish County Line; South - Richmond Beach Saltwater Park and Innis Arden; East - 8th Ave NW; West - Puget Sound.
Qualified students are those who are planning to pursue full-time continuing education through a technical program, community college or a university in the coming (2024-5) academic year. Family members of RBCA Board members are not eligible for this scholarship.
This Scholarship may be applied to the cost of tuition and fees, books or supplies required for courses of instruction at the educational institution of your choice. The scholarship will be paid by RBCA directly to the educational institution, for the use of the scholarship recipient once enrolled.
All applicants for the RBCA Scholarship must submit a one-page essay that addresses one or more of the following:
Scholarship applications will be evaluated by a committee based on defined criteria including, but not limited to, the amount of volunteer activity, and the content and quality of the essay.
