June 8th, 12-5pm, Parade begins at 11:45am
Richmond Beach Community Park - 2201 NW 197th Street, Shoreline, 98177Strawberry Festival activities include live music, parade, children’s activities, face painting, food trucks and of course delicious strawberry shortcake! Come join in the fun and meet up with friends, make new friends and celebrate a great neighborhood event - bring chairs, picnic blankets and sunscreen!
Parade
Help us kick off the start of the festival by participating in the Strawberry Festival Community Parade! Start planning your costume and props for this year's theme, Olympics! In honor of the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics. All ages are welcomed and encouraged to participate in this community parade. Arrive at 11:30, parade begins at 11:45.
Food Trucks
Be sure to come hungry because you’ll have plenty of food options. RBCA’s food booth will be offering delicious strawberry shortcake, cookies and lemonade! Grab a street taco from Isidro’s, an espresso from Vulpine, pizza from Oskar’s, or an authentic po’boy from Where Ya At Matt.
Music
This year we'll see the return of old friends and two great debuts! Join us in welcoming back Centerpiece Jazz Band, Centerpiece has been delighting audiences for years with the faves and a few surprises. The next two bands are new to the StrawFest stage! Come check out Stickshift Annie with Kimball and the Fugitives & Eléré. Stickshift Annie with Kimball and the Fugitives will bring high-energy rockin’ blues. Eléré the eight-piece salsa and jazz fusion band. Sound will once again be the domain of Chris Glanister of Pilgrim Media, the best in the business!
